The Bolaven Plateau is a hidden gem in Southern Laos, a land of lush green hills, cascading waterfalls, and rich coffee culture.

Highlights of the Bolaven Plateau: its waterfalls. There are over 70 waterfalls in the area, each one more stunning than the last. Some of the most popular waterfalls include Tad Fane, Tad Khone, and Tad Yuang.

Another highlight of the Bolaven Plateau is its coffee culture. The plateau is home to some of the best coffee in the world, and you can visit coffee plantations to learn about how it is grown and processed.

Full day tours are available to visit the Bolaven Plateau (private minivan & driver).
The day tour can also be selected as an excursion if you book the “Charming Escapades” package.
Alternatively, we can arrange your transfer to the Bolaven where you can continue your journey or visit our partners: Tree Top Explorer and Mystic Mountain.

The Bolaven Plateau is located in Southern Laos, about 85 kilometers from Pakse.
The plateau is home to a number of ethnic minority groups, including the Alak, Katu, Ta-oy, and Suay.
You can visit the Bolaven Plateau all year long. Excursions to our partners Mystic Mountain and Tree Top Adventure may require additional clothing (rainy season, winter).
